VIST 372 - Creating Digital Environments

Persona 5 Leblanc Cafe
The team of Jonathan McMahan, Erin Jarrett, Shelby Way, Sarah Jecker, Jolena Y and myself took on the task of recreating the Leblanc Cafe environment from Persona 5.
For 3 weeks we worked to recreate the Leblanc Cafe in the Unreal Engine. Our team split up the models that were needed to be created for the environment as well as texturing duties. This page will contain my contributions to the team project. Above you may find button links to each respective member's own blog.
Below is a screenshoted view of the environment within the Unreal Engine.

My Work & Experience
My experience with making models for game environments is very low.
Most projects I have worked on were animation based, meaning we were allowed to per-render scenes. This allowed our models to placed in smooth mode and/or have higher surface detail.
Because games are live-rendered, models could not be placed in smooth. Models could also not contain as much detail as animation models without being baked onto or another method. Our team approached this issue by making both low and high polygon models, so that we may bake details onto the low polygon models.
Below you will find models that I made with a few I additionally textured. Our duties were split up to where some individuals did not texture the same models they made.
